compilation nr. 1 in salescharts

In a couple of weeks its 10 years since my last gig with Frank & Rita Eriksen .

My last gig with them was in San Francisco , a fun trip and a nice way to round of our 6 years of working together.

Rca/Sony released a compliation of their best songs from the 4 albums released between 92 and 98 a couple of weeks ago, and this week it hit the nr. 1 spot on the official sales charts. ....

I play on 11 of the 17 songs

great little aniversary i think, Rita released a fine solo album last year but they have not released anything together since the 98 album

Tang Wa Sessions done...

Spent last weekend  at NRK Studios in Stavanger working on Svein Tang Wa's new album, the regular crew was there: Per Ravnaas (engineer) Reidar Larsen (piano) Tor Mathisrud (bass) Stein Inge Brækhus (drums)  Johan Egdetveit ( accordion) and me (guitars) ... Nice

Back from a week in studio, recording Reidar Larsens new album. 

I've cowritten 4 songs for the album, with Ingvar Hovland, Gunnar Roalkvam doing the lyrics. The basic tracks are finnished so now we have to add some horns , background vocals, percussion. Our buddy Norton Buffalo (norton-buffalo.com) will add harp . This will be Reidars 10. studio album and his first in Norwegian. Its recorded in the studio Pettersens kolonial in Hønefoss, a new studio with great rooms, Bechstein piano, a 59 Hammond b3 , protools and a great sounding SSL board.

the band was me on guitars, Kyrre Sætran on Bass, Knut hem on drums and cajon , and the man: Reidar Larsen on Keyboards
